Infants (6 Weeks - 18 Months)
A special parent teacher relationship begins in our nursery rooms, the foundation for this important partnership is built while creating individualized care plans for every child. Our dedicated staff will work with mom and dad to create a "home away from home" program focusing on every aspect of infant care. Every thing from feeding schedules, to sleep routines, are all done according to parents' preferences creating a similar and peaceful environment aiding in growth and development.
Families enrolled in our infant program will receive:
- A secure, nurturing, and educational environment. All Learning Tree nursery rooms are clean, safe, and state of the art. Plenty of floor space for tummy time and peek-a-boo, interactive spaces that stimulate curiosity and luxury cribs for sweet dreams are found in every room. For your convenience we have furnished every nursery with a dish washer in the the meal prep area, to properly clean and sanitize bottles after each feeding. All nursery rooms come fully equipped with energy efficient washers and dryers and stainless steel toy sinks to maintain a sanitary and spotless environment.
- Consistent, responsive caregiving. Our staff truly considers caring for each infant to be a privilege, and has great respect for the parent partnership. Our experienced, well-qualified caregivers work hard to develop an individualized routine that works well for each child, to respond promptly to the babies’ changing needs, and to keep parents informed every step of the way. Daily written reports accurately summarize all feedings, diaper changes, rest periods, and activities done each day.
- Individual attention and developmentally appropriate activities. We understand that early care and education go hand-in-hand, so smiles, songs, and hugs are considered to be just as important as feedings and sign language curriculum. As your little ones grow, they are introduced to a variety of activities and materials that support their physical, social, and cognitive growth. Our curriculum and custom daily schedule provides staff with countless resources, so you will find your little one happily engaged in daily music & movement, sign language curriculum, art projects, books and giggles.
